In selecting the unit, you should consider where you launch your boat from the most often (or where you keep it moored). For example, it makes more sense to join the unit where you most use your boat than it does to join the unit nearest where you live. Should you ever need it, it's a lot more convenient to be towed back to where your trailer is than to a boat ramp near where you live !
